A Proposify alternative for people whose proposals wait on the research

Proposify is built for a sales team. Approvals, roles, account metrics, a content library and a signature in every plan, with the bill following the number of users. Loadout has no signature product and no team seats, and what it does is write the thing, reading the client's own data and building three priced options. Plenty of people will want both.

Starting price

Proposify

$49 per user a month on Build, or $39 per user a month billed annually. The page shows the annual Build price as $468 per user a year. Grow is $65 per user a month billed annually, with extra users at $780 a year, and is where API access, approval workflows, roles and account metrics start. Scale is $107 per user a month on top of a platform fee of $12,800 a year that includes 10 users. Every plan carries a monthly send limit, and the page says a send is counted only when a proposal is shared with a client, with drafting and editing unlimited. The send tiers are listed as Basic at 10 sends a month, Team at 30 and Business at 75, and the page does not say which plan each belongs to. There is a 14 day trial with no card, and custom template design is $1,500.

Choosing

Proposify or Loadout.

Stay with Proposify if

  • The signature and the audit trail are the point. Proposify signs inside the document on every plan, and Loadout has no signature product, so a client accepts by reply.
  • You run a sales team. Approvals, roles and permissions, account metrics and custom reporting are what Grow and Scale are for, and there are no team seats here.
  • Your proposals have to talk to a CRM. Proposify lists integrations and automations on Build and API access on Grow, and Loadout has no CRM sync.

Look at Loadout if

  • You are one person paying a per user price.
  • The writing is the slow part. The proposal is built from the client's own data, with three priced options, the exclusions and the cover email, and the close kit turns the accepted one into an agreement page for free.
  • Proposals are one line on your software bill. The same credits cover a website teardown at 8, a local visibility audit at about 58, prospecting at about 202 and a client scorecard at about 12.

Questions

Before you run it.

What does Proposify cost right now+

Read from their pricing page on 1 Nov 2026. Build is $49 per user a month, or $39 per user a month billed annually, which the page shows as $468 per user a year. Grow is $65 per user a month billed annually with extra users at $780 a year. Scale is $107 per user a month on top of a platform fee of $12,800 a year that includes 10 users. There is a 14 day trial with no card.

Can Loadout get a proposal signed+

There is no signature tool here. The close kit page asks the client to accept by replying with the option they picked, and that reply with its date is the record. It counts as a simple electronic signature, with no certificate and no audit trail behind it. A fair setup is to write the proposal here and sign it in a tool built for signing.

What goes into a Loadout proposal+

Three priced options with scope, exclusions, a timeline and a validity date, plus a short cover email, all built from the client's own words and numbers. It publishes as a page and reports whether it was opened and for how long, so the follow up is written from that.

Does the bill grow with my team+

No. It also has nothing for a team to share, no roles, no approvals and no shared content library, which is part of what the per user price buys at Proposify.
